In a surprise move, Gamuda launched "Wira-LLM", its first end-to-end sovereign AI model. This will fully integrate AI technology into their global engineering designs and tunnel-boring operations.
15-Year "Government Revenue Guarantee"
Even better, on May 25, Gamuda's Weasel Solar and Cellars Hill Wind projects in Tasmania were selected for the Australian Government’s Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS). This means the Australian government will provide a financial safety net (a revenue guarantee) for Gamuda for the next 15 years, heavily dropping the investment risk.
Huge RM3 Billion+ New Orders from Australia (May 20–25)
Gamuda’s Australian subsidiary, DT Infrastructure, successfully won two massive contracts in Queensland, Australia. These contracts are for building two giant hybrid power stations (combining solar power and battery storage) named Smoky Creek and Guthrie's Gap. Together, they are worth over RM3 billion!
May 27 (2026): Broadcom just announced a comprehensive, deep collaboration with the rising South Korean AI star FuriosaAI, utilizing Broadcom's advanced packaging platform to build next-generation 2nm large model inference chips.
$10 Billion Mega-Order and Long-Term Visibility
Broadcom CEO Hock Tan revealed that the company added a crucial new customer for fiscal year 2026, bringing in over $10 billion in AI infrastructure orders. Bank of America (BofA) even pointed out that visibility for some of Broadcom's custom AI chip orders now extends all the way out to 2031.
