KUALA LUMPUR: Bursa Malaysia saw a follow-through in selling pressure which took the benchmark index lower amid a generally weak broader market.
The FBM KLCI finished down 1.13 points, or 0.07% at 1,618.27 after hitting an intraday high of 1,622.40.
There were 682 losers against 529 gainers while 487 counters were unchanged. About 5.64 billion shares, valued at RM3.92bil, changed hands.
Dealers said the overall sentiment appeared weak and selling pressure may follow recent gains.
