Why take on the organisation of such an expensive event to host amidst all the geopolitical and economic uncertainties ? Even at this juncture, Middle East conflicts still fluid and can even deteriorate and get worse in August -October 2026. Can we be certain that overseas tourists will travel and come if airfares are pricey.
its a sponsored event from BAHRAIN, MALAYSIA taking full benefits out of it. not a single cent from gov. dont use poor malaysian purchasing power mindset to judge this International race event, even locals especially youngster nowadays willingly to pay premium price to get the ticket
bahrain is paying for the whole event..but i think on logic wise the ticket sales n merch sales should be collected by bahrain but hotel, flight, parking, f&b and tourist spending is all benefitting malaysia..tourist n hardcore f1 fans will spend a few days here before depart to SG F1
