As long as lower value manufactured products can be comparable or produced by China manufacturers/suppliers (or other lower costs neighbouring countries), realistically our products can no longer be competitive based on recent years cost (fixed and variable) increases. Fundamentals (ie. margin compression) have shifted significantly for Malaysia manufacturers (sunset industries for manufacturers that are unable to at least achieve high single digit gross profit margin %).
