Digital Nasional Bhd said the 5G access agreement with Telekom Malaysia Bhd (KL:TM) remains in force, even as the state-owned fixed-line operator sought an early termination of the deal. The access agreement covers TM up to October 2032 and includes terms governing early termination. MNRB Holdings Bhd (KL:MNRB) has received Bank Negara Malaysia’s approval to start talks to sell its Islamic insurance unit Takaful Ikhlas, Bloomberg reported, citing people with knowledge of the matter. MNRB can open negotiations with Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Bhd, Great Eastern Life Assurance Malaysia Bhd and Syarikat Takaful Malaysia Keluarga Bhd (KL:TAKAFUL), the people said, asking not to be identified because the process is private. — MNRB gets BNM nod to start talks on sale of Islamic insurer Takaful Ikhlas — Bloomberg

Rivertree STF Synergies Bhd (KL:RSSB) has entered into a heads of agreement to collaborate on the design, construction and operation of up to four centralised labour quarters (CLQs) in the Klang Valley, with a total indicative value of RM600 million. The collaboration is undertaken with Asetra Sdn Bhd as well as Q Centre (Teratai) Sdn Bhd (QCTSB) and Q Centre Management Sdn Bhd (QCMSB). Gadang Holdings Bhd (KL:GADANG) is buying an 11.18-acre parcel of land in Johor Bahru for RM75.48 million from a unit of Ekovest Bhd (KL:EKOVEST). Gadang aims to develop an RM800 million gross development value mixed-development project on the site. The deal is conditional on the Economic Planning Unit’s approval of the sale to Gadang’s unit, City Version Sdn Bhd, and Ekovest’s subsidiary, Tanahmas Kapital Sdn Bhd, obtaining an amended development order for the mixed project plan by City Version. — Gadang to acquire Johor Bahru land from Ekovest for RM75.5 mil

Northern Solar Holdings Bhd (KL:NORTHERN) has secured two contracts worth a total RM119.39 million. One is a construction contract valued at RM47.53 million, and another one is a RM71.86 million engineering, procurement and construction job for collector lines and solar power plant interconnection facility. Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings Bhd (KL:MHB) has secured a four-year contract from Thailand's upstream player PTT Exploration and Production Public Company Ltd for offshore works in Sarawak. Cepatwawasan Group Bhd (KL:CEPAT) is restructuring its renewable energy business to better highlight its value to the market. It is selling a 40% stake in its 12MW Sandakan biomass plant directly under its 69.8%-owned, ASX-listed subsidiary, Timah Resources Ltd.
