MONTHLY ANNOUNCEMENT PURSUANT TO PRACTICE NOTE 17 ("PN17") OF THE MAIN MARKET LISTING REQUIREMENTS OF BURSA MALAYSIA SECURITIES BERHAD ("BURSA SECURITIES") ("LISTING REQUIREMENTS") |

We refer to the Company’s following earlier announcements made in relation to the Company being classified as an affected listed issuer pursuant to PN17 of Listing Requirements:-
(i) first announcement dated 30 September 2022 (“First Announcement”); and
(ii) 1 November 2022,1 December 2022, 4 January 2023, 2 February 2023, 1 March 2023, 31 March 2023, 5 May 2023, 31 May 2023, 30 June 2023, 31 July 2023, 30 August 2023, 4 September 2023, 27 September 2023, 29 September 2023, 26 October 2023, 2 November 2023, 1 December 2023, 2 January 2024, 31 January 2024, 1 March 2024, 19 March 2024, 2 April 2024, 30 April 2024, 2 May 2024, 16 May 2024, 4 June 2024, 2 July 2024, 10 July 2024, 1 August 2024, 2 September 2024, 27 September 2024, 30 September 2024, 1 October 2024, 18 October 2024, 1 November 2024, 2 December 2024, 2 January 2025, 3 February 2025, 21 March 2025, 2 April 2025, 2 May 2025, 20 May 2025, 26 May 2025 and 3 June 2025.
(collectively, referred to as the “Earlier Announcements”)
Unless otherwise defined, the abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall bear the same meaning as those defined in the Earlier Announcements.
Malacca Securities had on 20 May 2025, on behalf of the Board, announced that Bursa Securities had vide its letter dated 20 May 2025 rejected the EOT Application as the Company has not demonstrated to the satisfaction of Bursa Securities any material development towards the finalisation and submission of the regularisation plan to the relevant regulatory authorities.
In the circumstances and pursuant to paragraph 8.04(5) of the Main Market Listing Requirements of Bursa Securities: -
(1) the trading in the securities of SCB will be suspended with effect from 28 May 2025; and
(2) the securities of the Company will be de-listed on 30 May 2025 unless an appeal against the de-listing is submitted to Bursa Securities on or before the Appeal Timeframe i.e. on or before 27 May 2025. Any appeal submitted after the Appeal Timeframe will not be considered by Bursa Securities.
Malacca Securities had on 26 May 2025, on behalf of the Board submitted the Appeal Application to Bursa Securities and the said application is still pending decision from Bursa Securities.
Notwithstanding the above, the trading of the Company’s securities has been suspended on 28 May 2025. However, the de-listing of the securities of SCB from the Official List of Bursa Securities on 30 May 2025 will be deferred pending the decision on the Company’s appeal.
Further development on the Appeal Application will be announced by the Company in due course.
NOTICE: The affairs, business and property of the Company are being managed by the Interim Judicial Manager appointed by the High Court of Malaya. The Interim Judicial Manager contracts and acts as an agent of the Company and disclaims any personal liability under any contract entered into by the Company which has been adopted by the Interim Judicial Manager and any contract entered into by the Interim Judicial Manager on behalf of the Company. |
