Reference is made to AMH’s announcement on 11 July 2024. AMH wishes to announce that the Kuala Lumpur High Court has on 1 August 2024 granted interim stay orders in favour of ASSB and MBNS until the next hearing date on 20 November 2024 in respect of the payment of amounts raised under the IRB’s Notices. ASSB and MBNS intend to file appeals against the IRB’s Notices and if required, initiate legal proceedings to challenge the basis and validity of these Notices. AMH will provide updates of any material development to this matter. All abbreviations and definitions used here shall bear the same meanings as those used in AMH’s previous announcement unless otherwise stated. This announcement is dated 1 August 2024. |
