The Board of Directors of Global Oriental Berhad ("GOB") wishes to announce that GOB intends to seek shareholders' approval for the proposed renewal of shareholders' mandate for recurrent related party transactions of a revenue or trading nature at the forthcoming Annual General Meeting.

Details of the proposal will be provided in the Circular to Shareholders, which will be issued in due course.
