(Unless stated otherwise, definitions used in this announcement shall carry the same meaning as defined in the Company’s announcements dated 21 July 2022, 5 December 2022, 16 February 2023 and 25 August 2023 in relation to the above matter).

1. INTRODUCTION
Further to the announcement dated 21 July 2022, 5 December 2022, 16 February 2023 and 25 August 2023 regarding the Proposed New Plant Construction, the Board wishes to announce that JC had vide a letter (“Extension Letter”) dated 24 June 2024 to Honfuak agreed to grant a second extension of time for the completion of Proposed New Plant Construction. The new timeframe for the completion of the construction works is now extended to on or before 31 August 2024. Thereafter, an additional 3 to 4 months would be required for to complete the site inspection and compliance process. Accordingly, the Proposed New Plant Construction is estimated to be completed and ready for us on or before 31 December 2024.

There shall be no any other claims arising from this extension and all other terms and condition as stated in Construction Contract, LOA 1 and LOA 2 remain the same.

2. DOCUMENTS AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION
Extension Letter dated 24 June 2024 are available for inspection at the Company’s registered office situated at 39, Irving Road, 10400 Georgetown, Penang during normal business hours from Monday to Friday (except public holiday) for a period of 3 months from the date of this announcement.
