The Board of Directors ("the Board") of Handal wishes to announce that the Company has today received a letter dated 19 October 2026 from Messrs. SBY Partners PLT ("SBY") on its resignation as the statutory auditors of the Company ("Notice of Resignation"). The Board has accepted the resignation of SBY today.

In the Notice of Resignation, SBY stated that it has tendered its resignation as the statutory auditors of the Company for the financial period ended 31 December 2025.

As stated in the Notice of Resignation, SBY's resignation follows the Company's letter to SBY dated 18 October 2026, in which the Company indicated its intention to appoint a new firm of auditors in place of SBY.

The Board is not satisfied with the progress of the audit. Save as disclosed above, the Board is not aware of any other matter relating to the resignation of SBY that needs to be brought to the attention of the shareholders of the Company.
