For consistency purposes, the abbreviations used throughout this announcement shall have the same meanings as defined in the circular to shareholders of the Company dated 10 July 2026 in relation to the Proposed SCR, where applicable, unless stated otherwise or defined herein.

Reference is made to the Company's announcements dated 22 May 2026, 3 June 2026, 5 June 2026, 9 June 2026, 9 July 2026, 10 July 2026 and 21 August 2026 in relation to the Proposed SCR.

On behalf of the Board, Berjaya Securities wishes to announce that the High Court has on 15 October 2026 granted an order confirming the reduction of the issued share capital of the Company pursuant to Section 116 of the Act to give effect to the Proposed SCR ("High Court Order").

Following thereto, the Company will lodge an office copy of the sealed High Court Order with the Registrar of Companies pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act ("Lodgement") in due course. The Proposed SCR will become effective upon the Lodgement ("Effective Date").

For avoidance of doubt, the Effective Date shall be on the same day as the Entitlement Date, which will be announced in due course.
