Pursuant to paragraph 9.03 of the Main Market Listing Requirements ("MMLR") of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa"), the Board of Directors ("the Board") of Sern Kou Resources Berhad ("SKRB" or "the Company") wishes to announce that Sern Kou Plywood Sdn. Bhd. ("SKPW"), being a 51%-owned subsidiary of SKRB, has decided to cease its plywood manufacturing operations (the "Cessation").

Under Paragraph 1.01 of the MMLR, SKPW is not a major subsidiary of SKRB. Further, pursuant to Paragraph 8.03A of the MMLR, the Cessation does not constitute the cessation of a major business or operation of the Group.
