The Board of Directors ("Board") of Berjaya Assets Berhad ("BAssets") wishes to announce that the public shareholding spread of BAssets is 16.19% which is below the minimum public shareholding spread requirement of 20% approved by Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad ("Bursa Securities"), following the acquisitions of shares in BAssets by its substantial shareholder, Detik Ria Sdn Bhd as announced on 26 August 2026.

In view of the above, the Board of BAssets will seek the approval of Bursa Securities for an extension of time to comply with the approved minimum public shareholding spread requirement.
