The Board of Directors of Toyo Ventures Holdings Berhad ("TVHB" or "the Company") refers to its announcements dated 10 April 2026, 14 April 2026 and 3 June 2026 

in relation to the Writ of Summons and Statement of Claim filed by SET Business Advisory and Consulting Sdn Bhd ("Plaintiff") against its subsidiary, Toyo Ink Group 

Berhad ("TIGB"), and its former Group Managing Director, Chew Cheong Loong (collectively, "the Defendants") at the High Court of Malaya at Shah Alam (Suit No. 

BA-22NCvC-113-03/2026) (the "Suit").

The Board wishes to provide the following update on the Suit:

1. Case Management on 18 June 2026

At the case management held on 18 June 2026 before the Shah Alam High Court Registrar, the Court noted that neither party had filed any interlocutory application 

and directed the parties to file the pre-trial documents by 21 August 2026. 

The next case management was fixed for 21 August 2026 for the parties to update the Court on compliance with the above directions and for the Court to fix trial dates.

2. Case Management on 21 August 2026

At the case management held on 21 August 2026 before the Registrar, the parties informed the Court that they are in the midst of finalising the Issues to Be Tried and 

the Statement of Agreed Facts, and requested further time to file the same.

The Registrar fixed a further case management on 21 December 2026 at 9.00 a.m. before the Shah Alam High Court Judge for the parties to update the Court on the 

filing of the said documents and for further directions. 

The Court also fixed the trial of the Suit from 6 March 2028 to 10 March 2028, at 2.30 p.m., at the Shah Alam High Court.

3. Next steps

The Company will continue to comply with the directions of the Court and attend to the filing of the outstanding pre-trial documents. The financial and operational impact 

of the Suit on the Group, as disclosed in the Company's announcement dated 14 April 2026, remains unchanged. There is no additional financial liability arising from the 

developments set out in this announcement.

The Company will continue to make the necessary announcements should there be any material developments in relation to this matter and will modify and/or update its 

disclosures as appropriate.
