| Working experience and occupation | Ms. Hew Mei Ying ("Ms. Hew") brings with her over 30 years of experience in manufacturing environment with Public Listed/Multinational companies. She has extensive experience in financial leadership, strategic planning, and complex transformation initiatives across multinational environments.
Ms. Hew was the Chief Financial Officer of HeveaBoard Berhad ("HaveaBoard") which is listed on the Main Market of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad. She retired from HeveaBoard on 31 December 2025 after serving the company for 23 years. Prior to joining HeveaBoard, she was with Samsung SDI (M) Berhad for 13 years from 1991 to 2003 as Senior Finance Manager.
Currently, Ms. Hew sits on board of Eksons Corporation Berhad as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Ms. Hew's extensive experience in corporate finance, governance, Bursa compliance, treasury and financial reporting provides a strong foundation for effective board oversight and contribution to long-term organisational success. |
