1. INTRODUCTION

The Board of Directors of Oppstar Berhad ("Oppstar" or "the Company") wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Oppstar Technology Sdn. Bhd. ("Oppstar Technology"), has received a letter of offer dated 3 August 2026 from the Malaysian Investment Development Authority ("MIDA"). 

The offer letter details the conditional approval for the allocation of an Arm Compute Subsystem (CSS) access token under the strategic cooperation programme between the Government of Malaysia and Arm Limited for telecommunications and data center applications. 

2. CURRENT STATUS AND SUBSEQUENT ANNOUNCEMENT

As at the date of this announcement, the Company is currently reviewing the terms, conditions, and operational parameters of the offer. 

Further updates will be announced to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad in due course upon finalisation and execution of the relevant documentation, or when there are material developments regarding this matter.
