Reference is made to the Announcement dated 11 August 2026 in relation to the Memorandum of Understanding between TECHNA and Souqa Fintech Sdn. Bhd. ("Announcements") 

(Unless otherwise stated, the words and abbreviations used herein shall have the same meaning as those defined in the Announcements.)

The Board of Directors of TECHNA ("Board") wishes to clarify that Mr. Patrick Thevarajah has a direct interest in the MOU by virtue of his position as a common director of both TECHNA and Souqa Fintech Sdn. Bhd. 

Save for Mr. Patrick Thevarajah, none of the Directors and/or major shareholders and persons connected with the Directors and/or major shareholders of the Company have any direct or indirect interest in the MOU.
