The Board of Directors of Bintai is pleased to announce that, on 12 August 2026, its wholly owned subsidiary, Kejuruteraan Bintai Kindenko Sdn. Bhd. ("KBK") was awarded an open tender invitation issued by PLUS Malaysia Berhad ("PLUS") for the development of two (2) parcels of land measuring approximately 103 acres in aggregate and located in Ayer Keroh, Melaka outside the PLUS highway right of way (collectively, the "Lands").

The Lands are earmarked for proposed residential and commercial development with an estimated gross development value of approximately RM296.54 million. Subject to obtaining all requisite regulatory approvals, KBK will undertake the development and construction works for the project (the "Project").

The Project is expected to contribute positively to the Bintai Group's earnings from the financial year ending 31 March 2029 onwards.

The Project is subject to the customary risks associated with property development and construction, including fluctuations in raw material prices, movements in interest rates and changes in market conditions. 

The Company intends to mitigate these risks through prudent project planning and management.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of Bintai, or any person connected with them, has have any direct or indirect interest in the Project.
