The Board of Directors of Alam Maritim Resources Berhad ("Board") wishes to inform that the Company's Group Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer, Dato' Azmi bin Ahmad ("Dato' Azmi"), is presently under remand to facilitate an ongoing investigation by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission ("MACC").

The remand is for the purpose of facilitating the ongoing investigation and does not constitute any finding of wrongdoing.

The Board has taken the necessary measures to ensure continuity of the Group's operations and will make further announcements should there be any material development.
