| Working experience and occupation | Mr.Wong has over 35 years of extensive experience in engineering, water supply management, and public sector administration. He began his career with the Jabatan Kerja Raya Sarawak, where he served from 1982 to 1996 in various capacities, including Executive Engineer, Assistant Divisional Engineer, and Divisional Engineer. He subsequently joined the Sibu Water Board as General Manager, serving from 1996 to 2015, where he oversaw the management and development of the water supply services. From October 2016 to March 2017, he served as Director of the Jabatan Bekalan Air Luar Bandar Sarawak, leading the department responsible for the development and management of rural water supply projects in Sarawak. His extensive leadership experience and technical expertise in engineering and water infrastructure bring valuable insights to the Board. |
