Following the publication of the striking off application status on the Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia's website on even date, the Board of Directors of Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Positive Tropical Sdn Bhd ("Positive Tropical") has been successfully struck off since 25 May 2026.

 
Positive Tropical was incorporated in Malaysia on 30 January 2018 as a private limited company. Positive Tropical was principally involved in construction activities and has become dormant since 31 October 2025. Positive Tropical is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hap Seng Land Development Sdn Bhd which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of HSCB.

Prior to the striking off, Positive Tropical had an issued share capital of RM1 comprising one ordinary share.

The striking off of Positive Tropical would not have any material effect on the earnings and net assets of HSCB Group for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.

To the best of the knowledge of the directors, none of the directors or major shareholders or persons connected to the directors or major shareholders of the Company has any interests, direct or indirect, in the said striking off of Positive Tropical.
