Unless otherwise defined, capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meanings as those given to them in the announcement dated 28 November 2025, 19 December 2025, 9 January 2026, 13 January 2026, 11 February 2026, 13 February 2026, 5 March 2026, 2 April 2026 and 10 April 2026 in relation to the SCR.

On behalf of the Company, CIMB wishes to announce that the High Court has on 20 May 2026 granted an order confirming the reduction of the share capital of the Company under Section 116 of the Act to give effect to the SCR ("High Court Order").

Following the above, UEM Edgenta will lodge an office copy of the sealed High Court Order with the Registrar of Companies pursuant to Section 116(6) of the Act ("Lodgement") in due course. The SCR will become effective upon the Lodgement ("Effective Date").

For the avoidance of doubt, the Effective Date shall be on the same day as the Entitlement Date, which will be announced in due course.
