The Board of Directors of WCT Holdings Berhad ("WCT" or "the Company") is pleased to announce that a branch of its wholly owned subsidiary, WCT Berhad in Taiwan, namely WCT Berhad Taiwan Branch ("WCTB Taiwan Branch") has on 18 May 2026 been awarded a contract by WU En De Construction Co. Ltd. (the "Employer") to undertake and execute construction works between Gaoke Interchange (Design Station 344.5K) and Gangshan Interchange (Design Station 348.6K) for the project known as "National Highway No. 1 - Addition of Gangshan Second Interchange Project (Lot I108R)" in Taiwan (the "Project"), with a contract price of TWD 1,218,501,088.00 (equivalent to approximately RM152,679,066.00) (the "Contract").

The works under the Contract, which involve road works, bridge structural works and drainage works for the Project, are expected to be completed within 42 months from 1 August 2026, the commencement date of the Contract.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of the Company or persons connected with them have any interest, direct or indirect, in the award of the Contract.
