Reference is made to Gas Malaysia Berhad ("Gas Malaysia" or "the Company") earlier announcement on 18 March 2026 with regard to the receipt of Letter to Proceed from the Energy Commission of Malaysia ("EC") in relation to the Liquefied Natural Gas ("LNG") regasification terminal project in Yan, Kedah ("RGT Yan" or "the Project"). The Board of Directors of Gas Malaysia is pleased to announce that the Company has on 15 May 2026 entered into a Joint Development Agreement ("JDA") with Tokyo Gas Co. Ltd. ("TG") and VTTI B.V. ("VTTI") in relation to the Project. Please refer to the attachment herein for the details of the announcement.
