We refer to the announcement dated 11 February 2026.

Sime Darby Berhad ("Sime") wishes to announce that Dongguan Chuang Yi Motors Sales and Services Company Limited ("DGCY"), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Sime, has been dissolved with effect from 11 May 2026 following the receipt of the deregistration notice dated 11 May 2026 issued by the Dongguan Municipal Administration for Market Regulation under the Company Law of the People's Republic of China.

The dissolution of DGCY is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings or net assets of the Sime Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2026.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of Sime or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said dissolution.
