The Board of Directors of MPB wishes to announce that based on the Record of Depositors of the Company as at 30 April 2026, the Company's public shareholding spread was at 24.38%. As such, the Company does not comply with the public shareholding spread requirement of 25% pursuant to Paragraph 8.02(1) of the MMLR of Bursa Securities.

The percentage represents a shortfall of 0.62% from the minimum required percentage of 25% of the total listed shares to be in the hands of public shareholders.

The Company will be exploring options to restore compliance and will make the necessary announcements in due course.
