The Board of Directors of AJR wishes to announce that IAC Infrastructure Sdn. Bhd. ("IACI"), an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, had on 5 May 2026 accepted a Letter of Award ("LOA") dated 4 May 2026 from Universal Peak Sdn. Bhd. ("Universal Peak") in relation to the design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a 100MW / 400MWh Battery Energy Storage System ("BESS") project in Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah (the "Project").

Universal Peak is part of a consortium with Blueleaf Energy, which has been selected by the Energy Commission of Malaysia under the BESS project.
