Encik Noor Arifin bin Othman has approximately 34 years of experience in oil & gas industry mainly under the downstream business such as project delivery, petrochemical industries and manufacturing. 

He holds double degree from California State University, Chico, United States of America - Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (minor in Mathematics) and Mechanical Engineering. He is also accredited as a Professional Technologist in Manufacturing by the Malaysia Board of Technologists.

His career spanned from 1990 to 2023, started as a Design Engineer and Production Technician in California, United States of America. He later joined PETRONAS Gas Berhad in 1991, where he served for approximately 18 years in various departments and roles. From 2009 onwards, he served within PETRONAS Chemicals Group Berhad in several positions i.e. Senior Manager of Maintenance, Head of Operational Excellence, Senior Manager of Technical Services, Head of Manufacturing Operational Excellence and subsequently Chief Executive Officer / Head of Plant from 2018 to 2023. During this period, he also served as a Board member of PETRONAS Chemicals Fertiliser Kedah Sdn Bhd.

Thereafter, he undertook advisory roles relating to a melamine plant project, wastewater treatment rejuvenation plant and upgrading projects in Kedah. He currently serves as an Independent Manufacturing Advisor.
