We refer to our announcement dated 6 October 2021 ("Earlier Announcement") in relation to the lodgement of the proposed establishment of (i) the Islamic commercial papers programme ("ICP Programme") for the issuance of Islamic commercial papers ("ICP") based on the Shariah principle of Murabahah (via Tawarruq arrangement); and (ii) the Islamic medium term notes programme ("IMTN Programme") for the issuance of Islamic medium term notes based on the Shariah principle of Murabahah (via Tawarruq arrangement), which have a combined limit of up to RM800.0 million in nominal value.
Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the Earlier Announcement.
The Board of Directors of Kimlun is pleased to announce that the Company has on 24 April 2026 successfully made an issuance of the ICP of RM14.30 million in nominal value pursuant to the ICP Programme.
The tenure of the ICP issued is 5 months.
The proceeds raised from the issuance of the ICP shall be used by Kimlun and its subsidiaries (collectively, the "Group") for Shariah-compliant general corporate purposes, working capital, capital expenditures and refinancing of existing financing of the Group.
The ICP is issued pursuant to the principal terms and conditions of the ICP Programme lodged with the Securities Commission Malaysia on 4 October 2021.
OCBC Al-Amin Bank Berhad is the Lead Manager for the issuance of the ICP.
