Further to the announcements made on 22 June 2017, 21 January 2025  and the amended announcement made on 7 February 2025 , the Board of Directors of the Company wishes to inform that the Court of Appeal had on 16 March 2026,  dismissed AJSB's appeal against the High Court's decision awarding RM11,984,818.00 in general damages for loss of profits with costs of RM30,000.00 against Amsteel Mills Sdn Bhd.

AJSB's next available recourse would be to seek leave to appeal to the Federal Court. Such an appeal is not as of right and may only proceed upon the grant of leave by the Federal Court. The application for leave must be filed within thirty (30) days from the date of the Court of Appeal's decision.

The Company is presently in the process of deliberating its position and determining the appropriate course of action in this regard.
