The Board of Directors of Only World Group Holdings Berhad (“OWG”) wishes to announce that Kota Tinggi Resorts Sdn. Bhd. (“KTR”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of OWG, had on 16 March 2026 convened its Meeting of Member, at which it was resolved that KTR be wound up by way of a members’ voluntary liquidation pursuant to Section 439(1)(b) of the Companies Act 2016.
Mr. Onn Kien Hoe and Ms Wong Fe Mei were appointed as the Joint and Several Liquidators of KTR for the purpose of the voluntary liquidation.
KTR was incorporated on 18 May 1990 and was principal engaged in the business of operating a resort and a food service outlet. KTR has ceased its business operation during the financial year 2019 and is currently dormant, with no intention to resume any business or operations in the future.
The voluntary liquidation of KTR is not expected to have material effect on the earnings and net assets of OWG Group for the financial year ending 30 June 2026.
None of the Directors or major shareholders of OWG or persons connected with them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the voluntary liquidation.
