The Board of Directors of Cahya Mata Sarawak Berhad ("Cahya Mata" or "the Company") wishes to announce that Cahya Mata had on 12 March 2026 received a final award from the Asian International Arbitration Centre ("AIAC") ("the said Award") pertaining to a claim commenced by Malaysian Phosphate Venture Sdn Bhd ("MPV") against the Company's subsidiaries, i.e. Samalaju Industries Sdn Bhd ("Samalaju Industries") and Cahya Mata Phosphates Industries Sdn Bhd [formerly known as Malaysian Phosphate Additives (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd] ("Cahya Mata Phosphates").

The said Award was delivered in favor of MPV against Samalaju Industries and Cahya Mata Phosphates. Due to rules of confidentiality under Arbitration, the contents of the said Award will not be disclosed.

The outcome of the said Award does not have any material financial impact to the Company or its subsidiaries for the financial year ending 31 December 2026.

Cahya Mata will review the said Award with advice of legal counsel and will make further announcements on any material development as and when it is appropriate and/or necessary.
