| Working experience and occupation | Mr. Liew has over 25 years of working experience in the areas of finance, corporate strategy, treasury, financial restructuring and mergers & acquisitions across various industries including banking, telecommunication and energy infrastructure, property development and oil & gas. He started as a Manager in the Finance Division with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) subsidiary company, Tenaga Nasional Engineering and Consultancy Sdn Bhd where he worked in the Project and Implementation for Fibre Optic Cable in Central and Eastern part of Malaysia. He later joined Citibank Berhad as Vice President for Business Development in the Global Consumer Bank division. In 2002, he joined the Markmore Group of Companies in the Finance and Investment Division and appointed as Financial Controller. He was later appointed as Non-Executive Director of Sumatec Resources Berhad (SRB), representing Markmore Group of Companies, and redesignated as Financial Controller for SRB. Currently he serves as a Director of Business Development and Transformation for Khat Ventures with focus in corporate advisory, financial restructuring, project financing and investment advisory for overseas assets. |
