Ms. Oh Lean Sim began her career with Crowe Horwath (now known as Crowe Malaysia PLT) in 2010 as an Audit Assistant. She was subsequently promoted several times. During her time here, she was responsible for conducting audit on the firm's clients, comprising small and medium enterprises and public-listed companies. She left Crowe Horwath as a Senior Associate in 2013 and joined Efficient MailCom Sdn Bhd (now known as Canon MailCom Malaysia Sdn Bhd) as an Accountant. She was later transferred to Regalia Records Management Sdn Bhd due to company restructuring. As an Accountant, she led a team of staff to handle financial reporting functions of the companies, which include financial and management reporting, financial planning and budgetary control, treasury and funding, costing and tax management. 
 
She left Regalia Records Management Sdn Bhd in 2015 and joined CNI Holdings Berhad (now known as Citra Nusa Holdings Berhad) ("CNI") as an Assistant Finance Manager, in Corporate Finance and Treasury Department. She led the accounting and finance sub team of CNI. She left CNI in 2016 to join Trinity Avenue Sdn Bhd as an Associate Director during which she provided goods and services tax advisory, accounting and other related consultancy services to the clients. She was later appointed as an Executive Director of Trinity Avenue Sdn Bhd in 2017. 

She left Trinity Avenue Sdn Bhd in 2024 and joined KK Fresh Frozen Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of MyAxis Group Berhad, a company listed on the LEAP market of Bursa Securities) as Finance Manager, a role she currently assumes where she oversees the group's financial, accounting, and tax management functions, including financial planning, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
