Reference is made to the Company’s announcements dated 10 April 2025, 14 April 2025, 28 May 2025, 18 August 2025, 30 September 2025, 18 November 2025, 9 January 2026, and 3 February 2026.

The Company wishes to announce that at case management held on 5 March 2026, the Court has directed both parties to attempt to reach an amicable settlement via Court-referred mediation.

The parties are given until the next case management on 10 March 2026 to update the Court on the progress of mediation.

Parties compliance to further Court directions in respect of the Legal Suit, shall be updated by Parties at the next case management that is fixed on 28 April 2026.

All other directions and the trial dates for the Legal Suit, as announced on 18 November 2025, remain unchanged.

FINANCIAL AND OPERATIONAL IMPACT

The mediation is a procedural step aimed at resolving the dispute amicably. The Company is currently assessing the impact of this directive on its operations and financial position.

There is no material operational impact from the Legal Suit, and there is no material financial impact from the Legal Suit on MSMH Statements of Comprehensive Income.

In respect of the claims by MSM Johor, these will only be recognised in the accounts of MSM group of companies (“MSM Group”) upon the realisation of a virtually certain positive outcome of MSM Johor’s claims in the Legal Suit. The potential claims, if recognised, will contribute and have a material impact to the MSM Group financial results.

The Legal Suit is not expected to have a material impact on the earnings per share and the net assets per share of MSMH for the financial year ended 31 December 2026.

Further development on the Legal Suit will be announced in due course.
