| Working experience and occupation | Mr. Chew Chee Wai ("Mr. Chew") joined Mudajaya Group Berhad ("Mudajaya") on 3 January 2022 as the General Manager for China Operations, where he also oversaw the Group's local procurement division. He was subsequently appointed as the Managing Director of Mudajaya Corporation Berhad, a subsidiary of Mudajaya, on 16 October 2023, leading the Construction division.
On 1 April 2024, Mr Chew was appointed as the Acting Group Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the Group's operations across Construction, Trading and Manufacturing (China and Malaysia), Property and Power divisions.
Mr. Chew has over 20 years of experience in the sales & marketing of building materials. Prior to joining Mudajaya, he was involved in the construction business as a contractor, specialising in the supply and trading of building materials in China and Malaysia. His industry experience and regional exposure have enabled him to contribute to operational integration and business development initiatives of the Group. |
