Datuk Samsul bin Husin ("Datuk Samsul") graduated with a Bachelor of Accountancy from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He is a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and Certified Financial Planner (FPAM).

Datuk Samsul has over 35 years of experience in accounting and information technology, specialising in financial systems, system planning and design. His areas of specialty also include system computerisation, optimisation of decision support systems, public sector accounting for statutory bodies as well as change management and project management.
