(Unless otherwise stated, the abbreviations and definitions used throughout this announcement shall have the same meanings as those previously defined in the previous announcement)

Reference is made to the previous announcement on 4 December 2025. 

The Company wishes to announce that its subsidiary, MESB, had on 5 January 2026 filed its Defence and Counterclaim, denying the Plaintiff's claims for RM3,567,544.00 and has instead counterclaimed for RM12,366,718.86 for alleged defects in the construction works performed by the Plaintiff.

On 24 February 2026, the matter was called for case management before the Kuala Lumpur High Court, during which the Plaintiff informed the Court of its intention to file a Summary Judgment application against MESB. The Court directed that the application, if any, be filed on or before 27 February 2026. The next case management has been currently fixed on 27 February 2026.

MESB intends to oppose any Summary Judgment application filed by the Plaintiff. The Company will make further announcements as and when there are material developments on the above matter.
