| Working experience and occupation | Mr. Ho Chang Peng is an accomplished business and finance leader with over 25 years of experience in leading and transforming business operations through strong leadership, innovation, and financial excellence. He began his career in 1996 as a Management Trainee with Asian Grandeur Sdn Bhd, laying a strong operational foundation in operations and business management. Through dedication and performance, he progressed into senior finance leadership roles, serving as Deputy Financial Controller with Bayview Beach Resort from 1998 to 1999 and a Director of Finance with prominent organisations including Sunway Group (Sunway Georgetown and Seberang Jaya) from 1999 to 2005 and Hard Rock Hotel (Pattaya and Penang) from 2005 to 2007. In these roles, he enhanced financial governance, controls, and commercial strategy across diverse business environments. Expanding his portfolio beyond operational finance, he serves as Chief Financial Officer of Ehors Sdn Bhd from 2008 to 2009, overseeing corporate financial strategy, compliance, and business performance at a broader organizational level. His leadership trajectory continued upward as Cluster General Manager at Sunway Seberang Jaya and Convention Centre from 2009 to 2016, driving both operational transformation and financial excellence. Since 2016, Mr. Ho Chang Peng has transitioned to General Manager of Lexis Suites Penang, where he continues to lead the Company with sustainable growth, operational excellence and long-term business value. |
