The Company had, at its Thirtieth Annual General Meeting (“30th AGM”) held on 23 June 2025, obtained the shareholders’ approval for the Proposed Renewal of Recurrent Related Party Transactions (“RRPTs”) Mandate for MCB and its subsidiaries (“the Group”) to enter into RRPTs which are necessary for the day-to-day operations of the Group, as disclosed in the Circular to Shareholders dated 30 April 2025 (“Circular”).
Pursuant to Paragraph 10.09(2)(e) of the Main Market Listing Requirements and Practice Note 12 of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, the Board of Directors of MCB wishes to announce that the total actual value of the Mandated RRPT (“Total Actual Value”) has exceeded the total estimated value of the Mandated RRPT (“Total Estimated Value”) disclosed in the Circular by more than 10% (“Variation”).
