Reference is made to the article published by The Edge Malaysia dated 27 January 2026 titled “Greentronics partners with Thai insurer to enter the digital insurance space”.

The Board of Directors of Greentronics Technology Berhad (“Greentronics”) wishes to announce that Mpire Mobility Sdn Bhd (“Mpire Mobility”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Greentronics, and Thai Paiboon Insurance Public Company Limited (“TPB”) have officially launched their partnership on 22 January 2026.

The partnership is pursuant to a Service Level Agreement entered into on 1 September 2025 for a duration of two (2) years. Under the Service Level Agreement, Mpire Mobility provides digital platform support for TPB’s motor insurance services, specifically to support after-sales services for non-life insurance coverage for Malaysian motorists travelling into Thailand.

This collaboration is undertaken in the ordinary course of business and complements the Group’s fleet management business. The Board of Directors is of the view that the collaboration is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the Group over the duration of the partnership.
