KUCHAI DEVELOPMENT BERHAD ("KDB" OR "COMPANY") CASH DISTRIBUTION OF RM55,438,806 VIA A SPECIAL CASH DIVIDEND ON THE BASIS OF RM0.448 PER ORDINARY SHARE IN KDB ("KDB SHARE") ("DISTRIBUTION")

Kindly be advised of the following :

1) The above Company's securities will be traded and quoted "Ex - Dividend” as from: 23 Dec 2025

2) The last date of lodgment : 24 Dec 2025

3) Date Payable : 07 Jan 2026

Remarks :

Reference is made to the Company's announcement dated 23 September 2025, 8 October 2025, 29 October 2025, 4 November 2025 and 28 November 2025 (collectively referred to as the "Announcements") and the circular to shareholders dated 5 November 2025 ("Circular") in relation to the Distribution and the delisting. Unless otherwise defined, all capitalised terms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as defined in the Announcements and Circular.

The Entitlement Date for the Distribution shall be on Wednesday, 24 December 2025.

The entitled shareholders, whose names appear in the Record of Depositors of the Company on the close of business at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, shall be entitled to receive a cash distribution of RM0.448 for each KDB Share held in respect of:

(a) KDB Shares transferred into their Central Depository System account(s) on or before 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, 24 December 2025 in respect of ordinary transfers; and

(b) KDB Shares bought on Bursa Securities on a cum-entitlement basis according to the rules of Bursa Securities.

The trading of KDB Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities will be suspended with effect from 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 23 December 2025.  Accordingly, the last date and time for trading of KDB Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities prior to the suspension shall be on Monday, 22 December 2025 at 5:00 p.m.

The trading of KDB Shares on the Main Market of Bursa Securities will continue to be suspended until the completion of the Distribution and the delisting, where KDB will be withdrawn from the Official List of the Main Market of Bursa Securities and thereafter, KDB Shares will no longer be listed and traded on the Main Market of Bursa Securities.
