Tan Jo Lynn has over 14 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, risk management, corporate finance, and taxation across Malaysia and Singapore. Her professional background spans both listed and private companies, providing her with a well-rounded understanding of financial management, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance in diverse industries.
She began her career in auditing with Crowe Malaysia PLT, where she developed strong technical and analytical skills through handling clients across various sectors, including construction, manufacturing, services, and property development. Her early exposure to auditing practices laid a solid foundation for her later transition into corporate finance and accounting roles.
In her subsequent positions with Coveright Surfaces Malaysia Sdn Bhd (a subsidiary of Analabs Resources Bhd) and Cleanway Disposal Services Pte Ltd in Singapore, she honed her expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. Her dedication and performance earned her increased responsibilities, leading to her appointment as Senior Finance Manager at a private company, where she led a finance team overseeing group consolidation, budgeting, and compliance functions.
Her career progression continued at Classic Scenic Berhad, a publicly listed company, where she was promoted to Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO, she supported key financial operations including quarterly financial reporting, corporate disclosures, budgeting and forecasting, and cash flow management.
Most recently, she served as the Financial Controller of KIP REIT, where she spearheaded the finance and accounting functions while playing a pivotal role in financial planning, risk management, and sustainability initiatives. Her leadership extended to corporate exercises, and she was actively involved in the due diligence working group for strategic acquisitions. |
